FAQ

The app is very simple but I provide these FAQ just in case anyway.

#1 Why I need this app at all?

A friend of mine once told me that she doesn't like the way iOS7 auto-crops the photo when it is set as wallpaper because significant portions of the image appear cut off. And there is no way to make the image fit into the screen. So I thought that I could help her out by making this simple app that allows positioning of the images freely, any scaling and any rotation is possible here. You can even make up a photo collage using several images from your photo library if you want.

#2 Why I can't set an image as wallpaper right from this app?

It is prohibited by the iOS. I think it's their policy to protect us from third party apps being able to set images as wallpapers (like they might put an ad and stuff like that on the lock screen for example). So that's the thing we have to live with - one can only prepare an image in a the app and save it into the image library and then manually set it as wallpaper. There is no way around it.

#3 Can I add more than one image?

Yes. Use + Add Image button to add images into your composition once the previous one is positioned and scaled properly.

#4 How can I manipulate the images once they are added?

You can reposition, rotate and scale the last added image using usual gestures (pinch and rotate with two fingers, pan with one finger etc). You can also remove the last added image (use "Remove Image" button) and add another one.

#5 How the resulting wallpaper will look like?

The wallpaper will be looking exactly as you see it on the screen (without buttons on top of it of course).
